The probable Juventus formation for Empoli match -Juvefc.com

Following on from last Saturday’s Derby victory over Torino, Juventus will be hoping to claim back-to-back league wins for the first time this season when they host Empoli at the Allianz Stadium.

Since the start of the campaign, Max Allegri has been tweaking his tactical formations, but it looks like the manager will stick with a line-up similar to the one that won him the Derby della Mole.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will field a 3-5-2 formation for Friday’s home game against Empoli, with Wojciech Szczesny starting against Danilo, Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro.

This is basically the same bottom line as the previous weekend, with the captain replacing Gleison Bremer, who picked up an injury in the second half against his former club.

The source expects the midfield to remain unchanged, with Manuel Locatelli operating in a deep role between Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot, while Juan Cuadrado and Filip Kostic remain the only options available for full-back roles.

Finally, Dusan Vlahovic will lead the pack as he looks to build on the momentum gained from his last outing. But instead of Moise Kean, the Serb will be accompanied this time by Arkadiusz Milik.

Juventus Likely XI (3-5-2): Szczesny; Danilo, Bonucci, Sandro; Square, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Vlahović, Milik
