During his storied career, the Argentine made a name for himself at River Plate, before finding stardom at Real Madrid.
After breaking the Serie A record for most goals per season with Napoli, he made a controversial move to Juventus in 2016.
Despite his past with the Old Lady’s southern rivals, El Pipita quickly established himself as a fan favorite at the Allianz Stadium, and his countless goals endeared him to the Bianconeri fans.
So let’s celebrate Higuain’s fabulous career by remembering his top five moments during his time at Juventus.
5- Back with a bang
After spending a forgettable campaign on loan between Milan and Chelsea, the striker returned for an Encore year at Juventus under his former mentor Maurizio Sarri.
Although his fitness was obviously on the decline at the time, he managed an impressive goal when Juventus hosted Napoli earlier in the season. The Argentine ran over Kalidou Koulibaly before launching his shot past the hapless keeper.
That clash saw seven goals but Higuain’s strike was easily the pick of the group.
4- Wonderful Winner vs Rome
If I were to sum up Higuain’s skills in an instant, then his win against Roma in December 2016 would suffice.
