Lee Gunner had the host of Straight Facts on The Football Terrace in disbelief at his comments comparing Mo Salah to Brighton & Hove Albion hitman Danny Welbeck.
The YouTube personality incredibly claimed that the former Arsenal star was a more complete footballer than the Egyptian international.
The idea that our number 11 is completely dependent on his teammates and their “electric rhythm” is absolutely absurd.
His latest effort to WIN THE MATCH against Manchester City single-handedly with a wicked turn on Joao Cancelo to set up a one-on-one was without a doubt fascinating.
We can accept that Salah’s form this season has not been the best, but it is utterly insulting to compare the former Roma player to a footballer who, with all due respect to Welbeck, is ultimately in no condition to lace up his boots.
