Newcastle insider says Magpies transfer success won’t last forever

George Caulkin has been impressed by Newcastle’s signing since PIF ownership began, but reckons success “won’t last forever”.

The Magpies have hit the nail on the head with the signings of Bruno Guimaraes, Sven Botman or Dan Burn. All the players have proven to be great signings and have helped the club make another leap up the Premier League table.

“They’ve had an unbelievable hit rate in terms of the transfers they’ve brought in so far and that probably can’t go on forever, but you’d have faith that Newcastle would use that money, spend it wisely and improve.

Caulkin believes Newcastle will struggle to keep their best players until they become a top-four club.

“Like I say, I don’t want Bruno to go, I love him, but I’m using him as an example, it’s very possible that until Newcastle is not a top four club, this is the situation they have to deal with and all the clubs do. they do now.” – Caulkin said for Pod on the Tyne podcast.
