Boost for Juventus as Roma doubts if they should keep ZanioloJuvefc.com

Juventus have received a boost in their search for Nicolo Zaniolo as AS Roma now doubt whether they should hand the attacker a new contract.

Zaniolo has long been on the Bianconeri’s radar and was even considered the ideal replacement for Paulo Dybala last summer.

However, Roma kept the Azzurri star despite knowing that his contract expires in 2024.

They have been relaxed about offering him a new deal so far and it could backfire on them.

The attacker led them to victory in the Europa Conference League last season, but he is not nearly as electrifying this campaign.

For this reason, a Calciomercato report reveals that the Giallorossi now have doubts about keeping him.

They have been thinking about giving him a new contract worth €4m per season, but they might change their minds.

Juve FC says

Zaniolo is one of Italy’s exciting young talents and he is a player who can do a job for us.

However, he will have a hard time playing for the current team if he moves to Turin. This is because Max Allegri is not that keen on working with overly technical players.

The coach prefers people with experience, direct and focused on the most important things on the pitch.
