Italian journalist Giovanni Capuano saw Juventus’ 1-0 win against Torino yesterday and acknowledges that they showed signs of life in the match.
Juve won the match after back-to-back match losses against AC Milan and Maccabi Haifa.
The win sets them up well to beat Empoli when they meet next weekend.
They also need another match win beforehand, their key Champions League game against Benfica.
Juve haven’t been pretty to watch for most fans recently, but there have been a few games that show they can deliver, and one of those was the match against Il Toro.
Capuano tweeted after the match:
“Beyond the victory, there are some signs of life for Juventus. Vlahovic, for example, but also never being absent from the game, leaving gaps in concentration. For the rest of the performance, enough and little more.”
