Match report: Manchester United 4 – 0 Brighton and Hove Albion – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United have beaten Brighton in emphatic style at Leigh Sports Village in the WSL to go top of the league.

United showed their attacking intentions early when Toone fired a shot in the first two minutes that was well blocked by Brighton.

Brighton cut United’s training ground corner routine but they continued to press well.

Brighton had a chance to break in, but Blundell defended well to extinguish the threat.

A brilliant link game between Blundell, Galton and Parris got the United fans excited, but again Brighton got in their way in the final third.

Although the reds made the difference in the 14th minute with a cross from Batlle that found Ella Toone with a header, who was already playing a great game.

After being injured without having the ball, Toone kept playing and almost got the second when he made a great run, dodged around some defenders and shot, but went straight to the goalie.

But a few minutes later, her shot hit the target again, this time the assist came from Galton, who had made a good run, but she was confronted by Toone, who managed to get past the goalkeeper.

United were playing beautiful football with some creative plays and passes that the Seagulls just weren’t anticipating, but the resulting shots were pretty tame.

The third came from Galton, assisted this time by Toone who returned the favor with the second goal, setting it up for United’s number 11.

Just before half time Brighton had their best chance of the half, a brilliant strike from Teand just outside the box forcing the Earps to make a fantastic save to prevent Brighton from getting back into the game.

United came out hungry for more goals when Martha Thomas came on and had a good chance in the first five minutes, but the defender stayed with her and blocked.

Brighton were much more organized in the second half and it was harder for the Reds to bring them down.

They were launching their own attacks and United had to stay on fire.

The game had lost all momentum, Marc Skinner tried to shake things up a bit, but didn’t inject the energy and pace he intended.

But wait a second, out of nowhere, a beautiful ball from Galton finds the feet of Adriana Leon who, flanked by two defenders, kept her cool and found the back of the net.

Despite going into the final ten minutes, Rachel Williams figured her chances as she had two shots blocked.

It was a confident and commanding victory for the Reds who maintain their run of 100% in the league this season.
