Pogba to make an important step towards full recovery -Juvefc.com

Unfortunately for Paul Pogba, his long-awaited return to Juventus started on a disastrous note.

The Frenchman suffered a meniscus injury during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States and has been out of action ever since.

The midfielder initially opted for an alternative recovery path to avoid surgery, but the plan fell through and he was forced to undergo surgery when the operation became unavoidable.

Additionally, the 29-year-old has been dealing with personal issues related to extortion crimes involving his own brother and childhood friends.

Nonetheless, the former Manchester United can still salvage their campaign as they hope to make a positive impact as soon as possible.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via TuttoJuve, Pogba will resume training with the rest of the group starting next week.

Juve FC says

We’ve seen Federico Chiesa reunite with his teammates in training recently as his return to the pitch draws ever closer. So it seems that the French international is not far behind the Italian winger.

With Pogba’s troubling injury history, medical staff must be extremely cautious on the recovery schedule.

It is therefore unclear whether the midfielder will be able to make an appearance for Juventus before the campaign break in mid-November.

Regardless, Pogba has set his sights on a comeback ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, and he is apparently on the right track to achieve this goal.
