Christillin says Agnelli will not make the same decision on Allegri againJuvefc.com

Popular Juventus fan Evelina Christillin has spoken out about the Bianconeri’s struggles this season and believes Andrea Agnelli would not appoint Max Allegri as team manager if he had to do it again.

Allegri was renamed boss of the club last season after he stepped down in 2019 after five highly successful seasons.

He was reportedly close to joining Real Madrid before agreeing to return to Juve.

This second stage has been bad. The Bianconeri didn’t win a trophy last season, and they’ve been bad this campaign as well.

If things don’t change, they could end the term worse than before, and Christillin believes their comeback hasn’t gone according to plan.

She said via Corriere dello Sport:

“I think that Agnelli would not propose a 4-year contract again: it seems that there was an important relaunch when Allegri said that he was going to go to Real. Andrea bet on Allegri by accepting the proposal. They were both right on his side.”

Juve FC says

We’ve been poorer since Allegri came back and it’s hard not to think a different coach could have done a better job.

The coach is still loved by the club’s board, but he will lose that support if things continue to get worse.
