Former Juventus man says the players are frightened -Juvefc.com

Former Juventus player Marco Tardelli has spoken out about his struggles this season, insisting that players look scared when they step onto the pitch.

Juve are in a downward spiral that has extended since last season despite their summer trading activities.

Max Allegri’s men are now struggling to beat the smallest of opponents, despite having arguably the best team in Italy, on paper.

In Europe, they look set to settle for a Europa League place after losing three of four games in the UCL.

He will face Torino this weekend in a game of forced victory that has forced him to withdraw from training.

Having watched them closely recently, Tardelli says via Calciomercato:

“We know the present, we have all seen the faces of the players at the end of the game in Israel, incredulous, scared with a single question in their bewildered eyes:”

Juve FC says

It’s weird that our players look scared on the field because their coach is one of the best in the business.

This clearly shows that they no longer trust the coach, and could be the clearest sign the club has to replace him.

Although they have publicly endorsed it, we hope they have lined up a replacement if things don’t improve.
