Manchester City and Liverpool highlight this upcoming list of games. The two with the best chances of winning the Premier League at the start of the season meet at Anfield. However, the seasons unfolded very differently than one expected.

Manchester City is buzzing. Erling Haaland is treating the Premier League like a colloquial “farmers league”, as some on social media would describe. His dizzying pace of 15 goals in just nine games is unrivaled this season. Harry Kane, second behind the Norwegian and having a great season, has just over half of Haaland’s account. Consequently, City assume their place near the top, behind Arsenal by two points.

Liverpool have a goalscorer of their own. Roberto Firmino, who in the minds of many took a backseat to Darwin Núñez, has scored six goals. With Luis Díaz out due to injury, Firmino is the fittest player in Jürgen Klopp’s team. Liverpool host City reeling in the league. the Reds sit 10th in the table, with two points from their last three games. Few managers would see Manchester City as a team to bounce back against.

Elsewhere in the top flight, league leaders Arsenal look to continue their dazzling form with a trip to Elland Road. The American contingent in Leeds are winless in their last five games, including a loss last weekend against Crystal Palace.

However, all the action of the weekend begins on Friday afternoon when Brentford host Brighton. Two nice teams with decent performances on the season, they should be a good appetizer for all the games on Saturday and Sunday.

NBC coverage this weekend

This weekend, NBC’s Fan Fest returns, making a stop in Philadelphia. Attendees will have the chance to see the Premier League trophy, special guests, club mascots and of course the NBC studio team.

Over the weekend, Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Mustoe, Robbie Earle and Tim Howard will be at Dilworth Park in Philadelphia. Coverage is available on both USA Network and Peacock.

GOAL RUSH returns this weekend. However, it is not in the usual Saturday 10am window. Instead, playing four games at once, Goal Rush is available at 9am on Sunday. The highlight at the time is the trip from Newcastle south to Old Trafford. As well as United’s game against Newcastle, you can watch the latest goals and highlights on Goal Rush.

Also, there are two games this weekend available in 4K. Saturday’s final between Tottenham and Everton is in 4K, as is the weekend’s final. The Liverpool-City match, unsurprisingly, is in 4K for viewers who have access. Be sure to check if you have the ability to watch the highest quality broadcast of the Premier League.
