Paul Merson believes that two Liverpool defenders will find it difficult when Manchester City visit Anfield on Sunday.
The Premier League champions travel to Merseyside with the chance of being 16 points clear of the Reds, even though they have played one more game than Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The Reds earned three much-needed Champions League points when they defeated Rangers on Wednesday night, but Merson tipped the Sky Blues to earn a 3-1 victory at the weekend.

“Erling Haaland will face Virgil van Dijk this weekend, and I think the latter will find it a bit difficult to face the top scorer in the Premier League. This will be an interesting challenge for both players.

“Do I see Liverpool winning? No. They keep letting in too many goals. Manchester City have Haaland and he will continue to win a lot of games this season. I don’t see how Liverpool are going to prevent me from scoring at least two goals this weekend.”
