Angel di Maria has just finished the medical tests at Juventus and the club has made the results public.
The attacker left his match against Maccabi Haifa in the first half after appearing to have a hamstring injury.
The Bianconeri missed his presence in the game and ultimately lost it 2-0 to leave them facing the embarrassment of exiting the Champions League in the group stage.
Di Maria joined them in the summer and has been a key player for the club this season.
However, he has also been plagued with various injury problems, keeping him out of big games.
When he stopped in the match against the Israelis, there were fears that he might even miss the World Cup.
However, today he underwent tests at the J Medical Center, and the bianconeri have revealed the results.
The club announced on its website:
“Ángel Di María underwent diagnostic tests this morning at J Medical, which revealed a low-grade injury to the hamstring in his right thigh.
“It will take about 20 days for the player to fully recover.”
Juve FC says
Fortunately, the injury is not serious, but losing him for almost a month is not a good thing either.
The former PSG man is a man we trust to create chances, and we will fight without his contributions.
