Liverpool are tied against Rangers at Ibrox after being a goal behind in the match.
The Reds went down in the 17th minute when Scott Arfield went on goal before finishing off Alisson, but the Premier League side responded after just seven minutes.
Liverpool’s goal came from a corner that Roberto Firmino’s Tsimikas cross headed into the front post. The Brazilian intimidated Tavernier with the ball to grab a much-needed level for the visiting side.
