Keane lambasts Liverpool’s “really, really bad” defending against Arsenal

Liverpool endured a tough game against Arsenal and there were several occasions when Jurgen Klopp’s side found themselves stuck defensively during the day, with Roy Keane less than impressed by what he saw.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, the Irishman was discussing our recent defensive display at the Emirates and said: “Not great. It is useless to have all that experience if you are not going to use it.

“Part of the decision making for all the targets there [against Arsenal] from Liverpool’s point of view it’s so poor it’s actually hard to believe. Very, very bad positioning of such experienced players.”

It’s not the first time we’ve read or seen an analysis like this and our defensive issues are really starting to get worrying.

However, we can trust this group of experienced players and coaches and hopefully we can turn this around quickly.
