West Ham midfielder Lucas Paquetá admits that something he is still adjusting to at the club is communicating with his teammates.
The Brazilian international joined the Hammers from Lyon over the summer and has shown promise on the pitch, although he admits his English still needs some work.
“I’m happy with my performance and my attendance,” he said.
“I feel more comfortable and understand my teammates more. I think I can only get better.
“I am really pleased with the recognition, support and trust that the fans have in me. I hope I paid for it on the field.

“The language is still very difficult for me. I am taking lessons and doing my best.
“It’s important to talk to my teammates and the coaches, but I’m working on it and hopefully I can talk a little bit soon.”
