Angel di Maria left Manchester United after a theft incident unsettled him.
He suffered another incident at PSG, and had to be removed from a Parisian match after denouncing the theft.
Now he has suffered a similar scare at Juventus, just a few months after his time at the club.
La Repubblica via Football Italia reports that the police have arrested one of the thieves who broke into the attacker’s house in Turin yesterday.
The report says that the incident occurred at night and the thieves managed to gain entry.
However, shortly after a police vehicle arrived and they fled. The police captured one of them after chasing him.
Juve FC says
This will not help Juventus’ efforts to keep the attacker in Turin beyond this season.
After suffering incidents of robbery in Paris and Manchester, this development will make him and his family uncomfortable in Turin now.
We have to assure him that he is safe in the city from now on and work hard to convince him to renew his contract with us.
Di Maria has shown his class this term, and we need him to stay with the team for one more season.
