Roy Keane blasts Manchester United after abysmal display v Manchester City – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has criticized the current players after an embarrassing display against Manchester City.

The Red Devils suffered a 6-3 loss at the hands of their noisy neighbours, who proved too good for them in all aspects of the match.

Keane began to rant passionately:

“It was the way they started. They were slow off the blocks. City sent a message that they were ready and the first goal is great.”

“United went down after eight minutes and never recovered. There were spaces everywhere; they were careless in possession. Rashford never got hold of it; wide players gave it away.”

“Every time Man City advanced, it seemed like they were going to score. It is a pleasure to see City. They are one of the best teams I have ever seen live, but for United this is a huge setback.”

“It is a big step backwards. They were losing 4-0 at the break against Brentford. The performance in the second half is not good.”

“There was no aggression in the City game by then when the game was over. They made a lot of substitutions, so it’s not a consolation.”

United were trapped from the start and had no time on the ball to move forward.

When they did, the passes were awful and the team gave up possession too easily.

The coach, Erik ten Hag, mentioned that his team did not have the conviction to win and therefore had no chance.

Keane went on to say “

“At a big club like Manchester United, you wonder what the players must be like sitting in the dressing room 4-0 down at half-time. It must be strange, but these players are getting used to it as they were down 4-0 at Brentford.
