Juventus and Kean forced into unhappy marriage -Juvefc.com

After rising through the club’s youth ranks, Moise Kean became the toast of the town at Juventus following his impressive breakthrough in 2019.

Although Max Allegri’s squad featured the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic at the time, the young Italian became the star of the show during the final stretch of the 2018/19 campaign, before joining Everton in the following summer.

So while fans rejoiced at his return in the summer of 2021, the Italian international has been unable to recapture the magic of his original spell in Turin.

The 22-year-old rejoined the Bianconeri on a two-year loan worth €7m plus a purchase obligation for a further €28m.

According to Calciomercato, both Kean and Juventus are unhappy with the situation. However, circumstances have forced the marriage between the two parties.

For example, management was adamant about finding new accommodation for the former PSG man last summer, but fell short of its mission, as the club had to swap the player’s contract with Everton before making a sale.

Juve FC says

As we all remember, Kean’s return was a combination of panic buying after Cristiano Ronaldo’s sudden departure and hopeful thinking.

It’s hard to blame management for that, after all, the player was coming off a solid campaign in Paris and had served Allegri well in the past.

For one reason or another, he can’t find the back of the net these days, and the chaotic state of the club surely hasn’t helped his case.
