Virgil van Dijk seemed to be to blame for the last effort conceded by Liverpool, as a Leandro Trossard effort ensured Brighton fought their way back to the points at Anfield.
The Dutchman moved to intercept a cross into the box but missed a clearance, allowing the unmarked Belgian to guide home an equalizer past Alisson Becker.
It’s a shame for the Brazilian international who has been perhaps the Reds’ best player on the pitch aside from Bobby Firmino.
