Juventus was in talks to sign Memphis Depay as a free agent in the latest transfer window.

However, he was unable to find an agreement on personal terms with Juve and stayed in Spain.
The Bianconeri held out hope of signing him when his contract expires at the end of this season.
However, a report on Tuttomercatoweb reveals that Barca have changed their minds about losing him.
They have enjoyed having him around and now the Catalans are ready to offer him a new contract, albeit at a lower salary.
Juve FC says
Depay is one of the best attackers in Europe and we will benefit from adding him to our squad.
It’s unclear how far apart we were with his entourage in the summer, but we have another chance.
If Barça wants him to have a lower salary, what we have to do is offer him a salary higher than theirs, and for him to become our player.
But we are also cutting our salaries and that could derail this movement.
