Report reveals how badly Juventus misses the Higuain-Dybala partnershipJuvefc.com

Juventus have had some good attackers in their squad in recent seasons, but it hasn’t been the same since they broke up the duo of Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.

Both Argentines were on the Bianconeri’s books from 2016 to 2018 when the latter first walked away from the club.

Higuain joined the Bianconeri from Napoli in 2016 for a record fee and proved to be an impressive purchase in his first two seasons at the club.

A Tutto Sport report reveals that Juve scored 112 goals in 57 games in the 2016/2017 season, averaging 1.97 goals per game.

He scored the same number in 54 games in the 2017/2018 season, an average of 2.1 goals per game.

However, they only scored 87 times in the 2018/2019 season as Higuain spent time away from the club on loan at AC Milan and Chelsea.

He scored 99 in the 2019/2020 season and 108 in the 2020/2021. But Allegri’s comeback has been poor, with just 80 goals scored in 52 games last season, an average of 1.5 per 90.

Juve FC says

We can’t go back to thinking about a combination of Higuain and Dybala, because we don’t have both players.

We have to develop our current team to score more often, and we have the players to do that.
