Fabrizio Romano expects Spurs to buy Kulusevski one way or the otherJuvefc.com

After 18 months in Turin, Juventus decided to say goodbye to Dejan Kulusevski, who did not live up to expectations, especially after the arrival of Max Allegri.

For this reason, the Swede, together with Rodrigo Bentancur, took a flight to North London, signing for Fabio Paratici’s Tottenham Hotspur.

Both players have been enjoying a resurgence since January, establishing themselves as key players in Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 formation.

While Kulusevski is still out on loan until 2023, Fabrizio Romano expects Spurs to sign him permanently one way or another.

The transfer expert explained via his Twitter account that the 22-year-old’s redemption could come through one of two possible options.

The first could be an automatic redemption. The English side will be obliged to buy the winger if he makes 20 Premier League games (with a minimum duration of 45 minutes) while the club qualifies for the Champions League at the end of the season.

This would trigger the definitive transfer of the player to Spurs, with a price set at 35 million euros.

However, even if these conditions are not met, Romano still hopes that Londoners will exercise their right to buy the player.

So regardless of the form, Kulusevski’s eventual transfer to Tottenham is not in doubt, especially after his exciting performances since moving to English shores.
