Benjamin Sesko scored a wonder goal in Slovenia’s UEFA Nations League tie against Sweden yesterday.
The striker finished with a volleying left-footed shot from a tight angle after a long ball from Petar Stojanovic.
Sesko put his team ahead with the shot, though Sweden leveled shortly after with Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof setting up Emil Forsberg 14 minutes later.
Sesko’s goal will serve as a reminder of what United could have gained over the summer.

Sesko was one of the main targets for the striker’s job at Old Trafford, a position the club’s hierarchy failed to reinforce.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s acrimonious relationship with the club over the summer and subsequent poor form has highlighted United’s need for a striker.
That need hasn’t been helped by Anthony Martial’s continued fitness issues, which have seen him play just 45 minutes of football this season.
Sesko would have added some much-needed physicality up front and has the potential to become one of the best centre-forwards in Europe.
His technique for the goal yesterday was sublime and the United fans would surely have received such class at Old Trafford with open arms.
However, the RB Salzburg striker has agreed to move in the summer of 2023 to RB Leipzig for just £20m, a price kept low due to the affiliation between the clubs.
Both sides are owned by energy drink giant Red Bull, facilitating an easy deal between the clubs.
But a more determined United could perhaps have been successful in their attempts to land the exciting talent.
Erik ten Hag would surely have a lot more confidence in his striker options with a player like Benjamin Sesko in the squad.
Whether or not United choose to broach the striker issue in January, the Slovenian is off the table for the time being.
