Juventus winger Filip Kostic’s first senior coach, Vlado Capljic, has spoken out about the attacker and insists he will be a great signing for the Bianconeri.
Kostic joined the team in the last transfer window after proving his worth at Eintracht Frankfurt.
He helped the German club win the Europa League last season and caught the eye of several of the continent’s top teams.
Juventus won the race for his signing and has had chances to play for the club in the absence of Federico Chiesa.
The winger joined the Bianconeri at a time when they are struggling to regain their form.
It means hardly any fun has been had while the team works to get points on the board.
However, Capljic believes that when Juve get better, he will be an important part of history.
He said, as quoted by Football Italia:
“Things are not going very well, but certainly not because of Filip. Let’s not joke, Juventus are still one of the best teams in Europe and one way or another they will rise again.
“And when he does, rest assured Kostic will be one of the stars. He has always been where he has gone, so I have no doubt that he will be at Juventus too.”
Juve FC says
Kostic showed his class in Frankfurt and is one of the best wingers.
He, however, needs time to get used to what is required of him at Juve, and he would do his best.
