2021 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix session timings and preview
Formula 1 travels to Monza this weekend for the Italian Grand Prix. Here are the TV schedules for the 14th round of the season.
Monza is the fastest circuit on the calendar, and the drivers spend a substantial part of the lap at full speed. Three chicanes, including two at the start of the lap, provide plenty of opportunities to overtake.
The teams bring low-downforce configuration wings to Italy to make the most of the circuit’s long straights.
Monza also sees the result of the F1 speed qualifying race, which made its debut at Silverstone in July as part of an ongoing test to determine whether it should be featured in more Grand Prix next year.
As part of the format, the classic three-part qualifying shootout takes place on Friday, determining the grid for Saturday’s sprint race.

Max Verstappen won the previous F1 Sprint during the Italian Grand Prix weekend but was eliminated from the main race after a first-lap crash with Lewis Hamilton.
