Gervonta Davis summed up Logan and Jake Paul trying to be boxers in one word in response to a list of boxing influencers.
The WBA “regular” lightweight champion expressed his views after Jake Paul posted the top five aspiring boxers from YouTube and TikTok.
In a move that will have a large percentage of fans in agreement, Davis described all five of them, including Jake and Logan, as nothing better than butt.

Davis said, “Everybody’s a**!”
It wasn’t long before Jake returned fire. The former Disney child star said: “Floyd Mayweather’s son is upset that his father is fighting Deji for more dollars than he makes from his own fights.
“Little one, stay in your place under Floyd.”
The beef between the pair has been evident for some time now. Jake previously stirred the pot when he gave his take on Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia.
“One hundred percent. I’m rooting for Ryan in that fight,” Paul said.
“It is going to be a tough fight. I think it’s a fifty percent fight. But you know Gervonta hasn’t really shown the ability to win many rounds.
“Just like with Barrios, I was losing a lot of those rounds on my scorecard.”
Floyd Mayweather Protection Program
Making similar accusations to those labeled on Eddie Hearn this week, Paul added: “Obviously, he’s a Mayweather fighter.
“He’s in the Mayweather protection program, so a lot of judges are probably getting paid to score Gervonta.
“But Barrios was winning those rounds, in my opinion, until he got knocked down.
“So if Ryan can’t get hit with those big punches, then I think he could do it.”
Speaking to Fighthype.com, Paul got into an argument between Davis and Devin Haney about how they dress.
“I mean, it’s corny like Gervonta is basically in line saying Devin dresses like him and shit,” Paul pointed out.
“It is as if all the people wear the same diamond, the same jewelry, the same watches, the same cars. It’s guys like Gervonta with a God complex who think they invented fashion or invented jewelry. So, it was fun to watch. Devin is my boy, so I have to clown around with some of his opponents.”
Since then, Davis has been vocal about his views on Paul’s in-ring career. He told I Am Athlete: “I mean, it’s not good. But he goes that way if he continues in the gym.
“As you say, you wake up in the morning like a boxer. You know what I mean? He is in the gym.
Another don’t fight
Young Paul fights Anderson Silva next. A former UFC legend in his late 50s. He is a far cry from his promise to face an actual professional fighter.
The news about the card was published last Monday. WBN decided not to cover it, which is saying a lot.
Jake’s brother Logan is currently training to be a WWE wrestler in another attempt to stay relevant. He is expected to appear again in September.
The lifespan of the boxing partner seems to be shortened when the fad wears off.
