UEFA Nations League: Third edition of the Nations League so far

Nations League Rules
There are four leagues in the tournament with UEFA’s 55 national teams. These four leagues are A, B, C and D. There are 16 teams in the first three leagues (A, B and C). But D has only 7 national teams.
Each League consists of four groups of four teams. But League D only has two groups. One group has 4 countries and another has three. All European nations were placed in each league, based on the previous season’s league table result.
The four group winners from League A advance to the knockout finals in June 2023. But the group winners from the other three leagues will gain promotion to the higher league respectively for the 2024-25 edition.
The teams that finish fourth in the groups of Leagues A and B will face relegation.
But the case of League C is different. The four teams that finish fourth in the League C groups will battle it out in the play-outs, which take place in March 2024. The two nations defeated in that tie will play in League D next season.
The UEFA Nations League 2022/23 has an important relationship with UEFA Euro 2024. Three of the 24 participating countries in the Euro will be determined by playoff places through the Nations League. In accordance with UEFA regulations, the selection of 12 national teams will be made based on performances based on the 2022/23 Nations League.
The group champions of Leagues A, B and C will enjoy this privilege. But if they have already qualified for the European Championship, unqualified teams from the same league will have a chance to qualify.
