Zola says injury absentees are not a good excuse for poor performancesJuvefc.com

Juventus have been terrible this campaign and most of the blame lies with the club’s injured players.

The Bianconeri have missed the influence of Federico Chiesa and Paul Pogba on the pitch since the campaign began.

They have also been denied the chance to field the likes of Angel di Maria and Leonardo Bonucci in some matches this term.

However, most of the key players and new signings have been available for the club to select, so he should do better on the pitch.

Some pundits and even Max Allegri argue that it’s hard to accomplish much with a depleted team.

However, the ex of Chelsea, Gianfranco Zola, does not subscribe to that excuse.

He said, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb:

“I am very surprised by the crisis of results and especially of the game that he is experiencing, also taking into account that Massimiliano Allegri is on the bench, for whom I have great appreciation. The absences of great players cannot be an excuse or justify what we see on the pitch, also because a team like Juventus, with the resources they have at their disposal, cannot do so badly”.

Juve FC says

As one of the biggest clubs in the world with the quality of players we have, we must not use injuries as an excuse.

First of all, it’s part of the game and a top manager like Allegri doesn’t need to be reminded.
