Mathias Pogba claims his brother, star midfielder Paul, used witchcraft to help Manchester United beat PSG in 2019. According to Mathias, Paul essentially asked for a spell to be placed on PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe.
The matchup was the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League campaign. United won the match 3-1 and advanced to the quarter-finals 3-3 on away goals.
In a series of videos posted on Twitter, Mathias said his brother became obsessed with witchcraft four years ago. “The turning point came with the 2018 World Cup. Paul had more faith in the witch doctor than in God, and he entrusted the witch with a great task to help the French team win,” Mathias said.

“After that, Paul continued with his witch doctor, especially in the Champions League to make sure Manchester United got through against PSG. [in 2019].”
“At Paul’s request, the witch was told to neutralize Kylian Mbappe, who was then on a rapid rise, far surpassing Paul’s fame. It was strange to see that during that match, Kylian was a shadow of his former self against a reserve team.”
Mbappe recorded an assist in the game but seemed to struggle in other respects. The speedy striker was unable to complete a dribble (0 for 3) or shoot on goal in the loss.
“The problem is that at the same time, Paul was doing everything he could to get closer to Kylian. As we could see in the media, he supposedly liked him and called him his friend. He would call him often, we would see them arm in arm,” Mathias continued. “He got so far that Kylian almost made it a condition of his contract extension with PSG that the club would have to sign Paul. Without knowing it, behind his back, Paul was engaging in witchcraft to sabotage his matches.”
Mathias Pogba released a long series of video statements through his Twitter account, all in French.

Mathias also claimed that the witch doctor paid Paul back at least $4 million for his services. Former PSG defender Serge Aurier also allegedly introduced the person to Paul.
Five people, including Mathias, were charged last week in the ongoing racketeering investigation involving Paul Pogba.
