Shakur Stevenson conceded defeat after weighing in a pound and a half over the super featherweight limit on Thursday.
The talented two-weight world champion lost his WBC and WBO world titles after failing to meet the 130-pound stipulation.
Stevenson weighed 1.6 pounds and had to explain himself for the fight to continue. Conceição is eligible to win the titles after reaching a monetary and dehydration agreement after lengthy talks.
If Stevenson wins, the titles are vacated.

Despite the furor, Stevenson is ready to win and move up in weight.
“I gave it my all. I’ve been pro my whole career and gained weight, but my body can’t do 130 anymore.
“My health has to come first. I will go up to 135 in my next fight,” she said.
As fight night approaches, Stevenson is ready for Conceicao’s challenge.
“Honestly, I’m ready to fight. I’m not really focused on pressure. I don’t care about all that.
“I’m really focused on working on Friday night. I am ready to fight at the end of the day.
“All I can think about is fighting and performing. That’s all I have in mind.
“He is a good fighter. But I think he lost against Valdez. If you left it in the hands of the judges, you lost. I fought Valdez and gave him a beating.
“I have no excuses. He is talking about having COVID or something before his last fight. All I hear are excuses. I am ready to fight.
“Tell him to have no excuses on Friday night. I’m ready to hit it.
“I never leave it in the hands of the judges. I go there and take whatever I want.”
Robson Conceicao
Conceição said: “I am very motivated. I’ve trained my whole life for this moment. The world could see that I was better than Oscar Valdez. I should have won.
“I am an uncrowned champion and ready for Friday night.
“Shakur is someone I really respect. He is a great athlete. I can tell he is young, probably too excited and talks too much.
“This coming Friday, there will only be one champion, and that champion is me.”
In the eight-round lightweight co-feature, US Olympic silver medalist Keyshawn Davis (5-0, 4 KOs) steps up in his class against Omar Tienda (25-5, 18 KOs).
