Connor Coyle handed chance to Cash in on Eubank Benn Card

Connor Coyle [17(7)-0] he will be looking to literally cash in when he fights next.

The middleweight from Derry wasn’t underestimating him when he told Irish-boxing.com he had a big fight in the UK in the works last week.

Matchroom has just confirmed that ‘The Kid’ will trade leather on the undercard of the huge Eubank Jr vs. Conor Benn undercard.

Coyle will fight Felix Cash [15(10)-0] on the ‘Born Rivals’ lineup at London’s O2 on Saturday 8th October. On the line in Ireland’s battle against England will be the WBA intercontinental middleweight title.

Coyle was in the ring as recently as this past Saturday, defeating Silverio Ortiz at the Alessi Gym in Tampa, FL.

Speaking of the build up to that fight, there are hints that something BIG will be confirmed soon, and that has been the case.

The recent NABA title winner faces Cash in the kind of fight he has been asking for. Cash, who Jay Byrne took the distance from in 2017, is an undefeated former British and Commonwealth champion who has names like Jack Cullen, Jason Welborn and Denzel Bentley on his record. He certainly represents the best Coyle has faced, but again it’s exactly the kind of opportunity the Florida-trained center from Derry has asked for.
