Liverpool summer transfer plans clearer after £600m reality surfaces

Liverpool could be set to post a record income that could amount to £600m, an amount that could very well exceed figures in the English top flight.

What this will mean for the club’s transfer efforts going forward will no doubt be up for debate and it goes without saying that a good chunk of said funds will go towards a hefty salary bill.

However, some healthy sales figures released after Sadio Mane and Co.’s departures dented the £64m outlay on Darwin Nunez, and the failure to acquire a new top midfielder should mean Jurgen Klopp’s men they will operate from a position of strength in the upcoming summer transfer window.

It’s a lead we should certainly be looking to exploit when it comes to a potential move for top target Jude Bellingham next year given the whopping £131.6m price tag attached.

That’s certainly assuming the World Cup doesn’t inflate that asking price significantly further and, for the time being, it’s clear how much will force Liverpool to walk away from the negotiating table.

However, given current concerns around the middle of the park, if we were to look elsewhere, we can hardly afford to avoid reinforcing the department in question for the second summer in a row.

If the report in question is believed, we will have the funds to act in the market.
