Telemundo Deportes hired Mexican Raúl Jiménez to star in a new ad to promote its coverage of the World Cup.

As the exclusive Spanish-language broadcaster of this winter’s 2022 World Cup tournament, Telemundo’s new marketing promotion is titled The Game We Love. Mexico’s star striker, Raúl Jiménez, is the face of Telemundo’s campaign. In short, the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker features prominently in the spot that Telemundo says “celebrate the community’s passion for soccer and promote the network’s exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.”

The Game We Love features over 400 extras in a video that was shot over a two-month period. The last filming took place in the UK.

Other scenes from Telemundo’s World Cup ad were filmed at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, Uruguay. In addition, Peñarol’s Champion Del Siglo Stadium is the best of the best.
