‘One of the best in La Liga’

Leeds United is very attentive to the situation surrounding Sevilla player Yassine Bounou and could sign for the goalkeeper next summer.

This is stated by Transfers, which reports the interest of Leeds but also states that West Ham is also interested in the 31-year-old Moroccan international, whom they describe as “one of the best goalkeepers in LaLiga”.

Leeds already have a solid goalkeeper in Illan Meslier, but the 22-year-old was linked with other clubs over the summer and it could be the case again next year.

Although Leeds won’t want the French star to leave, it doesn’t hurt to have a list of potential replacements ready just in case.

Leeds United’s Illan Meslier has been linked with a move away from Elland Road.

Bono has been a great goalkeeper for Sevilla in recent seasons and enters the final year of his contract next summer, so it would be the LaLiga outfit’s last chance to sell the goalkeeper.

The 31-year-old would be an excellent option to replace Meslier should he leave next summer, but he could also be a brilliant backup for the 22-year-old, if the Sevilla star agrees to that role.
