WBA Asia will be present at the Centennial Convention – World Boxing Association

The Centennial Convention of the World Boxing Association (WBA), to be held from December 11 to 14 at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, will be attended by the WBA Asia team.

One of the objectives of the president of the organization, Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, has been the expansion of boxing around the world in order to help less favored countries to enjoy the sport and provide good opportunities for their boxers.

In the case of WBA Asia, led by Alan Kim, they have managed to reach countries such as South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand or Indonesia and have had the opportunity to fight for the regional title, in addition to other less common countries such as Pakistan. , India, Afghanistan, among others.

It will be an interesting experience as we will be able to witness first-hand the evolution of the Asian entity and its developments as they work to continue growing and reach more and more places.
