F1 2021 DUTCH GRAND PRIX

F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix scheduled for 3-5 September 2021

Following the Formula 1 release of the 2021 provisional FIA Formula 1 World Championship, the first postponed edition of the Heineken Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix is scheduled for September 3-5, 2021. In view of global interest, the return of the Dutch Grand Prix, after 36 years, in consultation with Formula 1, a date has been agreed on in September 2021.

Preparations begin again

The organizers of the Dutch Grand Prix and the Zandvoort Circuit CM.com were fully prepared for the first edition of the Heineken F1 Dutch Grand Prix in May 2020. Both parties have agreed on the date of 2021 and hope to celebrate the return to the Formula 1 with its traveling fans and millions of people around the world.

Sports director Jan Lammers says: “The return of F1 to the Netherlands was initially made possible by a business initiative, but equally important, it was followed by massive interest from many racing fans in our country. This new date just after the summer has the advantage that the peak of the summer holidays has passed, that there is a good chance that the weather is good and the crown measurements will be more limited. This is a great date for Zandvoort and the entire region. In other words, the organization is very positive and is preparing to organize a big public event on this date ”.
