José Mourinho’s Roma were defeated today by 1-0 against Atalanta in a match in which the Portuguese coach was sent off for protesting with the referee.
The loss sees Roma drop to sixth in the table, while the three points for Atalanta puts them top of Serie A.
During the second half of the clash, the former Chelsea manager was sent off after running onto the pitch to protest to the referee after the Roma manager felt his team should have been awarded a penalty after a foul on Nicolo Zaniolo.
This is not the first time that Mourinho has discussed himself in the referee book, one of the many characteristics that people love about the legendary coach.
