Real Madrid set to rival Arsenal in race to sign young winger

Real Madrid are set to rival Arsenal in the race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Mudryk has quickly become one of the brightest young talents in Europe. The Ukrainian has a devastating pace that he has shown both in his home country and in the Champions League.

Arsenal have been linked with Mudryk in recent months, according to Football Insider, but they could now face tough competition to secure his signature.

According to signings, Real Madrid is closely following Mudryk and has already caught the attention of some of his scouts.

Understandably, his Champions League performances have caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see more clubs enter the race to secure his signature.

Fabrizio Romano has also spoken to CaughtOffside via his Substack column about the rejection of Everton’s €30m bid for Mudryk over the summer.

The Ukrainian club are confident they will be able to secure a higher transfer fee for the young talent, and could start a bidding war if more clubs enter the race.
