Not Bored of Bordoy – Motivated Rabei Promises to make American Quit

Victor Rabei [10(3)-0] Bold predicts what Omar Bordoy will do [11(3)-1] give up your bench when they fight on a ‘Rockin’ Fights’ fight night next month.

The Moldovan Dub finally fights the American, a fighter he was initially meant to trade leather with in December 2019, spring 2020 and spring of this year before the pandemic and injuries, in a Star Boxing show at the Theater Paramount, Huntington. New York on October 1.

‘Slick Vic’ is confident before the rescheduled grudge match and predicts that he will tame and stop ‘The Beast’ to restart his career.

Making a bold prediction for the scrap, he told Irish-boxing.com: “Omar quits on the bench or throws in the towel in the corner. I don’t think he’ll be able to get close to me. I predict a clinical performance with a lot of damage.”

It is a fight that has been in the making for almost four years and Bordoy is a name synonymous with disappointment for the Moldovan Dub.

However, ‘Slick’ has not been fatigued by the fight. In fact, he insists that he is quite the opposite, claiming that he is full of enthusiasm ahead of his US debut and suggesting that he feels the need to resolve his differences with Connecticut.

“I am still extremely hungry for this fight with Omar. Because he failed so many times, I love him more than ever. It’s a fight I need to get over before I can move on with my career.”

A victory against an American with a more than solid record in America would certainly see Rabei make up for lost time and finally allow a fighter, who to his credit has taken risky fights early in his career, to move to the next level.

“A victory will put my career back on track for the big fights,” he adds. “I have had a lot of bad luck since I fought Jake Haney with injuries and fights that fell through. But I kept my head down and trained hard.”
