It appears there is now an explanation for this, with L’Equipe reporting that the former Gunners striker will have to have a small growth removed from his vocal cords.
The French source claims that Lacazette has had this problem since the beginning of the summer, but it does not appear to have prevented him from playing for Lyon.

However, now that the international break is approaching, it seems like a good time for Lacazette to solve it.
Everyone hopes the surgery goes well for Lacazette, who was a great player for Arsenal and who has started strongly since returning for a second spell with Lyon this season.
