Mexican undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez and his arch-rival Gennadiy Golovkin appeared at the final press conference of Saturday’s trilogy clash at T-Mobile Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The other two bouts were in the middleweight division. This third will be at super middleweight and the four 168-pound titles will be disputed.

Canelo Alvarez: “Thank you for the support you always give me. And I hope that on Saturday night we are all shouting ‘Viva México Cabrones’”

Gennadiy Golovkin: “We are both professional athletes. His strategy is more aggressive. My strategy is more experience. In the ring we will show who is better. This is the biggest fight for us.”

This will be Golovkin’s last fight with DAZN and he will become a momentary free agent.

Canelo insists that the fight should not go to 12 rounds even though Golovkin has not fallen to the canvas in his 44 fights in his 16-year professional career.

Canelo has been very verbally aggressive in this fight and remains a 5-1 favorite on most bets.
