Liverpool are famous for having a fantastic atmosphere, but there are some fans at Anfield Road End who are trying to make a change inside the stadium.
In a thread of tweets sent by ‘The Anfield Road Pen’ Twitter account, they explained how they want to change ‘Anfield Road Lower blocks 125 to 129’ into an edge section.
Hoping to collect ‘2,000 signatures’ with the long-term plan to allow ‘season ticket holders and members with more than 13 credits to move to The Anfield Road End Lower’, in line with the redevelopment of the new booth.

Any supporter who sticks his head over the parapet and makes a suggestion like this will be open to criticism but it will be fair to those responsible for this petition.
It is a move to increase and improve the atmosphere within Anfield and while we have many famous and impressive nights within a season, there is certainly room for improvement.
Gathering the fans who do want to sing and seating them together in the new grandstand will only benefit the club in the long run.
It’s annoying that we have to have these discussions, but the only way it will get better is by talking and asking the club for a change.
Whether it’s next season or years to come, best of luck to everyone involved here and hopefully it can bring about some positive changes.
