Former world champion Marcos René Maidana will be present at the World Boxing Association (WBA) exhibition during the sixth edition of the Box Fan Expo in Las Vegas, which will take place on Saturday, September 17.
The pioneering organization will be present at an event that has been growing over the years and that will serve as a prelude to the big fight between Saúl Álvarez and Gennady Golovkin that same day.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about part of the history of boxing, admire pieces of great historical value, interact with different personalities and experience a great boxing party.
Maidana was a fighter known for his great punching power and for being one of the most impressive punchers seen in recent years. He faced Mayweather a couple of times and got him into trouble during both fights.
The Argentine will join Roberto Durán, who will also be with the WBA at this event over the weekend.
