Kimpembe Out For Six Weeks With Hamstring Injury

PSG news: Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that defender Presnel Kimpembe will be out of action for around six weeks after picking up an injury in their win over Brest.

PSG met Brest in Ligue 1 in their previous game and secured a 1-0 victory. They finished the match with 10 men after Kimpembe was injured in the 90+2 minute having exhausted all substitutions from him.

PSG have released a statement confirming that Kimpembe has suffered an injury to his left hamstring. Kimpembe will undergo another examination eight days later to assess her progress.

“After a left hamstring injury, Presnel Kimpembe will be out for about six weeks. New tests will be carried out in eight days to assess their progress,” the PSG statement read.
