Liverpool fans got the start – and the answer after the 4-1 loss against Napoli – that they craved as Mo Salah emphatically finished off his chance to give the home team the lead at Anfield.
The Egyptian king made a well-timed run into the box, and found himself enjoying miles of space after a short ball from Diogo Jota before slotting his goal into the bottom right corner.
It’s a perfect boost for the former Roma man after doubts were raised about his form in front of goal of late.
