Juventus striker receives scathing criticism for his Sunday performance -Juvefc.com

With several top names injured or rested, Max Allegri handed Moise Kean a rare starting spot in the match between Juventus and Salernitana.

The Italian acted as a hybrid right winger while sometimes cutting into the middle to become a second striker alongside Dusan Vlahovic.

Unfortunately for the 22-year-old, his exit was forgettable, to say the least. He failed to provide enough support for the Serb, except for a lone assist on a goal that was rightly ruled out for offside.

Additionally, he did little tracking down to support his teammates. Instead, he gave away cheap fouls by unceremoniously pushing his opponents to the ground, ultimately earning him a booking.

Unsurprisingly, Allegri took him out at halftime in favor of the significantly more productive Arkadiusz Milik.

According to JuventusNews24, Kean was once again his team’s worst player on the pitch during Sunday’s busy match.

The source explains how the striker received very low marks for his poor performance. His marks were 4.5 and below.

Additionally, the crowd in attendance reportedly booed the player as he left the field, as a sign of their frustration with his performance.

Juve FC says

While it’s hard to argue against the scathing criticism of Kean’s display, booing a player, let alone a young one, almost never helps.

Kean remains a youthful product of the club, and one who is capable of producing improved displays with proper management and perhaps if released into his natural position as a target man.
