ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is proud to announce the promotion’s return to Parx Casino in Bensalem, Penn.
Featuring a heavyweight title fight between undefeated prospect Greg “The Viking King” Velasco (4-0) and 15-fight veteran Kevin “King Kevi” Sears (9-6), CFFC 113 will take place on Saturday October 8th at Xcite at Parx Casino. Center. The winner will take home the CFFC heavyweight title that was vacated when Jamelle Jones signed with the Professional Fighters League.
Additional matchups include a co-main event middleweight contender between submission expert Earl Small (4-1) and David “Shotgun” Gladfelter (3-1), who scored a standout knee TKO in his CFFC promotional debut. 102. Velasco, 28, has been flawless as a pro, racking up four consecutive stoppage wins to start his career, all under the CFFC banner. Velasco was also nearly perfect as an amateur, with his only setback coming in a 2019 clash with current UFC heavyweight Hamdy Abdelwahab. Now Velasco faces the most experienced opponent of his career to date at Sears, who is making his CFFC debut. Sears boasts previous clashes with big-show veterans Justin Frazier, Parker Porter, Greg Rebello and Kelvin Tiller, among others.
