Michael Hunter vs Mike Wilson

Michael Hunter (19-1-1, 13 KOs) weighed 217.2 lbs Monday for his 10-round WBA heavyweight title eliminator against Michael Wilson (21-1, 10 KOs) for his main event fight. Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. In New York.

Wilson, 38, weighed 224.2 pounds. The winner of the fight will be the mandatory challenger of the WBA heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua.

The 33-year-old Hunter should win this fight pretty easily, as Wilson has never displayed the kind of talent that would suggest he can beat a guy like him.

This is Hunter’s second fight since he fought a 12-round draw against Alexander Povetkin in December 2019 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

The vacant continental heavyweight title of the Americas from the World Boxing Association will be up for grabs Tuesday night for the Hunter vs. Wilson.

FITE.TV and Triller.com will broadcast the contest live at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT.
