(Video) Rio Ferdinand names the five Liverpool players who “are nowhere near the levels” we have seen in the past

Liverpool were truly honored and embarrassed at the hands of Napoli and Rio Ferdinand named several players who have not lived up to their standards so far this season.

Speaking to BT Sport, the 43-year-old said: “Too many of their big star players that they have relied on in recent years, are nowhere near the levels that they have produced that we have grown accustomed to seeing. .

“Salah is not at the level he was before, in terms of production. Virgil van Dijk the same, Fabinho even looks a bit out of place. You can go through the whole team: Trent Alexander-Arnold, the two full-backs look out.”

It’s easy to point fingers at those who aren’t playing well right now, because there are so many people below the normal high standards we expect from the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp has a lot of work to do to get this team back to the level we expect from them and that will have to start with our next game, against Wolves at Anfield.
